Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches

A quick and easy sandwich for lunch or dinner fashioned after the famous sandwich from Philadelphia. This recipe makes two large sandwiches, so adjust as necessary.

1 medium white onion

1/2 large green Bell Pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp minced garlic

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 lb rib eye steak, thinly sliced

4 slices of provolone cheese

2 large fresh sandwich rolls

In medium frying pan, saute sliced onion and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat. Remove onions and peppers from frying pan. Cook thinly sliced rib eye steak until medium rare to medium. Mix onions, peppers, garlic and salt back to frying pan with steak. Broil provolone over opened sandwich rolls and then add contents from the frying pan.
