Breakfast Casserole
A rich breakfast casserole that you prepare the day before and bake the next morning. We often make this over the Thansgiving and Christmas holidays as it also reheats well and is nice to have in the fridge for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 slices of bread cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dry mustard
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
Brown ground pork sausage and drain.
Scramble eggs.
Add half and half to a 6" x 6" Pyrex oven safe baking dish.
Add cubed bread.
Add eggs.
Add browned ground sausage and let stand in refridgerator overnight.
Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and then cut and serve.

When browning ground meat we always use the The Pampered Chef Mix N Chop.
We also used the Pyrex Easy Grab 8-Inch Square Baking Dish.
